Kathy March went back to college in 2002 to learn about computers, so she could get back into the workforce, after caregiving for 15 years. In 2004, she was asked to be one of the six original Student Ambassadors of Cypress College at the start-up of the program to represent Cypress College at area high schools and career fairs. Shortly thereafter, a work study position opened up in the Aviation & Travel Careers Department, for which she applied and was offered the position. She had always wanted to be a “Stewardess”, as they were called back then. She has earned 22 certificates at Cypress College in Aviation & Travel Careers, Computer Information Systems, Court Reporting, Management, and Office Administration. She runs the Travel Resource Office and the Computer Lab in the ATC (Aviation and Travel Careers) Department and enjoys helping and working with students. She has been instrumental in putting together the Aviation & Travel Careers Advisory Meetings since 2006
